Kindergarten students took “a ride on the Pony Express” during Missouri Road Trip week of summer school.
The students created “horses” from pool noodles and loved “riding” them to deliver the mail!
Thanks to a grant received by our district - we were able to purchase a brand NEW 71 passenger 2023 school bus. This is our first ever air conditioned bus & will be used for our extracurricular trips.
First grade created “delicious” Watermelon Weaving projects during Camping Week of summer school.
At the district Shop Fair, Jayton Skaggs medaled and qualified for the state competition with his Euro Mount project. Jayton scored a 96 and medaled at the state level! Great job, Jayton! We are very proud of you!
Thank you to Matt Skaggs from Pioneer Forest for presenting to our summer school students. We appreciate the support and willingness to share his knowledge of forestry and management with our students.
Summer School starts TOMORROW and will run from 8am-2pm.
Week #1 theme is Camping. On Thursday we will be going to Loggers Lake for the day. Parents are welcome to join us there.
Summer school will be filled with hands-on activities, painting, building, experimenting and exploring. Please do not send your child to summer school in nice/fancy clothes. They are very likely to get messy.
This week was the last one for 2 wonderful women that have blessed our district for so many years! Ms. Kathy has worked for 42 years and Ms. Elaine has worked for 30! We are so thankful for their dedication to our district and wish them the best in retirement!
Last day of school tomorrow!!! End of year elementary awards ceremony takes place in the Old Gym at 8:15. The high school assembly will take place in the New Gym later that morning (approximately 10 am). We will dismiss after high school lunch.

These pictures are of our BRL Art Show winners but tonight all students in PK-12 will be represented in the New Gym between 5:00-7:00. Art, Shop, FACs, and the Jazz Band will host their spring concert at 6:00 pm.
