Pep Club is putting on a Cancer night volleyball game for everyone in our community that is battling or has battled any type of cancer. Instead of the pink out night, we wanted to recognize every cancer, which is what the color lavender represents. At the game we ask that you please wear all kinds of lavender/purple to show your support. Hope to see everyone there!
Thanks to a grant from Reynolds County Educational Enrichment, our FACS (Home Ec) classroom recently received a major facelift. All new kitchen cabinets and countertops, as well as new cookware and dishes was purchased.
A special thank you to Rick Martin, Jody Martin, TJ Young, Lynn Moses and Alex Martin for installing the new cabinets and fixing the plumbing and electrical issues.
Our Eagles are already learning how to budget for food, prepare meals and use many kitchen appliances.
If you ordered Fight Night Shirts, you can pick them up today at school from 3-5. If you can't make it at that time message Mrs. Moses.
Elementary STEM Club students constructed an explanation of how energy is stored, released, and transferred in a chain reaction by weaving popsicle sticks into what is called the “Cobra Wave.”
The cobra wave is a popular physical phenomenon arising from the explosion of popsicle sticks. The sticks are expelled from the woven mesh by releasing the elastic energy stored during the weaving of the structure in a chain reaction.
